Energia is a WBE-certified firm delivering integrated MEP engineering and architectural design services that emphasize energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness for public projects.

With decades of experience, we bring proven expertise in managing high-efficiency, energy-saving projects from audits and design to project management.

Our Energy Engineering and Design services offer comprehensive, pragmatic solutions that improve energy utilization across infrastructure, commercial buildings, and facilities by incorporating renewable energy and sustainable practices. We work closely with engineering, architecture, and construction partners to deliver cost-effective strategies that drive real results.

Beyond Compliance: How Energy Modeling De-Risks Design

In Part 3 of Energia’s Three Pillars of Performance series, Vice President of Engineering David Newman, explains how advanced energy modeling helps AEC teams make smarter, data-driven design decisions from the start while avoiding costly performance drift and compliance risks.

Using a Long Island school district renovation as a case study, Newman shows how digital modeling compared full electrification, geothermal, central chiller, and VRF system options, and identified the most cost-effective and code-compliant solution without sacrificing performance.

With increasingly strict energy codes in NY, NJ, and beyond, partnering with specialists who can deliver accurate and detailed models is becoming essential for AEC firms navigating high-efficiency system design.
