PROJECT DEVELOPMENT LEADER

Jessica Denson, P.E., CEM, CEA, LEED-AP O+M is responsible for implementing Energia’s Proven Process for Energy Saving Success with K-12 clients across the country.   Leveraging her more than 15 years’ experience as an engineer, Jessica brings superior knowledge of the Energy Performance Contract process to Energia’s clients, making the process turnkey for them, thereby saving them time and money.

In her most recent background, Jessica worked for Johnson Controls in Irving, TX, dedicating more than 12 years to energy projects in all market segments. Starting as an Energy Solutions Engineer and working her way to Development Engineer II, Jessica was the lead energy auditor and client support specialist for JCI energy projects. Prior to that experience, Jessica focused on HVAC systems specifically while a Design and Project Engineer at Flutec in Mexico.

Jessica’s certifications make her uniquely qualified for Energia’s project development work. She holds Professional Engineer (P.E.), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED AP O+M, and Certified Energy Auditor credentials, among others.  Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
